Hey there,

I recently installed belkin wireless adapter drivers etc on the old Win 98 computer next door for my Gran. However when I plug the card in (USB 2.0), nothing happens. The cards green light is lit, so it's connected. Though it does not seem the comnputer is picking up the card at all. I've tried http://192.168.1.1 etc, but nothing. I'm guessing this is due to the age of the comp it can't pick newer software up. So ugh, any advice please?

98 doesnt recognize usb devices automaticly you have to install something. Google it.

Ah okay. is it possible to install this update to a disk? Could anyone help me search please?

You're running 98Se right? I've never seen a wireless device that works with first edition.
And if you've installed the included software properly there shouldn't be anything else left to do. I'm not aware of any extra software you'd need to install....
