iPod with Windows USB problems

Hey guys, been a while since i last posted....

A problem when i connect my iPod or any other USB item really, my computer pops up saying this device can run faster etc at 2.0, instead of 1.1, my PC has 2.0 USB im sure but it doesnt seem to work at that speed, when i go to control panel, system and in device manager the USB controller has a exclaimation mark over it????

Can someone give me a hand, do i need a driver or something?

The motherboard is MSI K8N i think...

it appears you need a Usb Driver or re-install Itunes

Just like what homerj14 mentioned, you will need to update ITunes to the latest version. ITunes has many flaws on it's earlier versions.

You mobo is usb 1.0 not usb2.0 You can try updating the chipset drivers for the board but probably the usb root controller isn't 2.0 compatable.
