Please remember im only 14 and low on money i only spent 300 (dollars) on this last year.
The top one i actually used a pocket knife to cut through the metal and the side one i used a dremel tool and drill.

sorry it might be a bit blurry

alright like i said i only spent 300 i had to make the money myself so:

it has

pentium d 805 2.66 OCed to 3.00 on stock cooling

Asrock 775i65G mobo

only 512 ram pc 2100 :'(

64mb graphics card :(

500watt ultra x-connect powersupply (dad got it for only 5 bucks at goodwill becuz the moron tested it to c if it worked w/o pluging it in into the mobo so he thought it was broken lol)

250g seagate HDD 7200rpm

2 cdrom drives stripped from old comps

tv tuner

fans:

the middle one on the side and the one on the back came with it (80mm)

top one took from a crudy powersupply rewired it to makevit fit (80mm)

lower corner side fan 90mm took it from an old sony viao psu and rewired it and hooked it up to a speed control switch thing

tell me what u think

feedback please!!!! on mod especially

nice. ;)

the tape on the top looks a tad messy compared to the rest but i sure wouldn't mind a rig looking like that.

aww thats not bad at all. You should seen my drunk mods, those were a sight to behold. For some reason when I get about dozen drinks in me I want to mod. I'm lucky I no longer drink that much anymore. BTW is that an AC dimmer switch for controling fans? I didn't think an AC pot would work, because I would have done that years before fan controlers came out.

Eh...

In my honest opinion, I think the zipties and electrical tape make it look bad. If you had used screws, and some fan grills, it would look 10x better.

it looks pretty good to me although if it were me i'd take off the electrical tape and screw the top fan in. The tape makes it look a little bad but does it's job so it really doesn't matter unless you have OC about that kind of stuff like i do :S. Good job man.

should be a pretty decent rig once you get some more ram and a good graphics card in there.

for another $200 you could probably get up to 1 1/2Gb ram and a decent GPU

the deal with the tape is the whole i cut with the pocket knife on top was to big so i cut out the center of a cd then put the cd around it and had 2 use tape to secure it LOL

Figure out a way to get rid of the tape, zip ties and get a fan grill and you're golden. You have the case I was considering getting too, so props on that ha. I love the color of that thing.

maybe you try using a 120mm fan there then? it's really your decision but yeah. just a thought.

Im sorry, but thats not case modding...

Thats case massacring...

To be quite honest, i dont get whats with these people posting pictures of holes they ripped into computer cases and calling it modding...

These are ones i've done

In the future remember to plan what you want to do, get the parts and tools to do it correctly, and then measure 3 times. Then... you can start hacking away :)

not bad. considering that back when i was 14 i would have never even considered being that brave :).

and take easy aspire ur 3 days younger than me (just noticed :)) so its obvious we have more experience and better tools to do the job! thats right i have the seniority to scold u! :p
