There is a very simple solution to this question but i forgot it. How do you change the settings on your laptop so when you close it it doesn't stand by For windows vista but if you don't know how to fix this problem in windows vista xp will do.

Start -> Shut Down -> Lock PC.

It's different in Vista. Keep in mind the above works for RC1. They have RC2 now.

In Windows XP you'd go to:
Control Panel>Power Options>Advanced (tab)>Under the heading "When I close the lid of my portable computer" there's a pull down menu where you can select either "Do Nothing" or "Standby".
