Has anyone ever used a belkin KVM system in conjunction with a cordless mouse and keyboard. This would be my preferred solution but I have heard that there can be issues if you know what I mean.

Any help before I invest would be appreciated.

Thanks,

M

Well, considering I had issues with my WIRED mouse and keyboard and monitor when using a belkin KVM, i dont think itd work to well.

If im not mistaken, Wireless mice and keybaords all use USB now dont they? So I dont believe a KVM would support it anyways.

It may be significant that this UK based retail website: www.kvmchoice.com, whom are very knowledgable about KVM switches and highly specialised, do not supply Belkin at all.

I found their technical advice to be excellent.

I have seen KVM switches that support USB mice and keyboards. I think that it was a belkin too.

Belkin KVM

I recently purchased a Belkin SOHO KVM with audio and USB support. It allows connections to CPUs with USB input for mouse and keyboard. It does NOT support a USB mouse or keyboard though. You have to get a USB to PS2 adapter. The KVM is supposed to be controllable from the keyboard. Mine does not work with my Northgate keyboard. I'm planning on replacing it after I find something better that's rack mountable.
