Im planning to setup a new rig, preferrably the machine only since I already have a LCD screen, keyboard, mouse and etc.. Im gonna use this for heavy video editing, and extreme gaming as well. Budget is not exceeding $3000.

Now the only thing I dont have on the list is the PSU so can somebody recommend me a very good and very stable PSU please. As you can see that I ll purchase 2 video cards because I will run them in SLI. And is 7950GT the dual-core graphics? So it means Im running Quad SLI? And which is better, SLI or Crossfire? Im also looking for X1900XTX and run it in Crossfire but I dont know which among them has the lead..
And also I read that Kentsfield CPUs are coming.. Is it much wiser if I purchase a E6600 Conroe instead and buy that quad core CPU when it comes out? Same thing with the GPU knowing that DX10 cards are coming out.. If possible that I can run DX10 cards in SLI...Latest technology in my machine
But time is the enemy here. If the release is later than 2 months well I cant wait for that much long. And also I expect that there are bugs in there that needs to be worked out. When is the exact release of the quadcores and dx10 cards?
Any info recommendations kindly please reply.
