Just kinda been searching around for a new build set up, still using some parts from my current computer if needed. I was eyeballing the following set up:

Ù http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...details.asp?EdpNo=2528230&Sku=MCM-945WM-840 A
Ù  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811208008
Ù A wireless card i have
Ù I have a fire wire card...but is one built into the board?

Is this any good? If not any tips? Graphics card in there is not NEEDED but it was better then mine so yeh, everything else in that package is required.

this is my first build so tips are helpful...tutorials..ect..

x-actly what i was thinkin bout it...nice for medium gaming computer...slap some more ram on there. Is that grapics card any good?

Do ya think its better then the Ati ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 PRO?

(what i have right now)

Yes, I'd def. recommend 1GB of RAM.

That mobo looks fine to me (though don't take my word, I suck at this compared to some others)

haha...freakin same...they should have a standard unit of measurement for everything....so u can really compair stuff

yeah but they wouldnt do that, because then if a compettitors board really was beter then they would not get many sales then would they.
So they make it so confusing and they make it sound good so that everyone has an even keel.
Anyway, if there was one true way to compare boards it would definetly be the specifications, even better if you can find a website that has tested and benchmarked it.
Anyway, from what I can see that board looks fine.
