Windows is skipping the logon

Windows XP Pro jumps right into the desktop instead of asking for a user password. Anyone know how to change that? The only two things I know of are:

Control Panel > User Accounts > "Change the way users log on" > "Use the Welcome Screen" is checked.

Start > Run > "control userpasswords2" > "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" is checked.

Any other help?

right click on my computer
click on manage
local users and groups
then users
set the password on the user u want
tell me what happens with u !

Yes, if you don't have more than one user other than Administrator, and that user does not have a password, I think it logs you right in. I may be off on this.

Yeah, that was the reason.

I thought for sure I had a password set up, but I guess it didn't stick from when I installed Windows.

Figures it would be something lame like that...
