How hot is too hot for my GPU?

I've got my new computer built, and i was wondering how hot i should let my GPU get before it's dangerous. When i first tested it with ATI tools(i have an x850xt) it got to almost 90 very quick, but that was with fan speed set to 5%. Ive altered the fan speed to 100% above like 75C. Is that too high?

75*c at load is nothing to worry about,Now if that's idle temp's you have to do something quik

Yeah it was at like 87 under load prior to me manually adjusting the fan settings, it was set permanetly to 5%, probobly because it's loud at 100. But im gonna run some more tests, i have it set to hit 100% if it gets over 75.

AS5 and a VF900 should bring you down by 12-20 degrees.

I just put those on my 7900 last night and it dropped my temps by 25C

Stock- 40C idle/60C load
Zalman- 28C idle/ 35C load
