Joining Hard Drives

If you have Windows XP Pro, you can make them both dynamic disks and make them so that they are like one big HDD.

The catch with doing this is that it is irreversable.

i was reading that i have to go through the windows setup and load the raid drivers there then install windows, after it has installed then i can raid but im still not sure if it will let me raid with a ide drive (my motherboard is a AsRock Combo-Z because the other one decided to quit)

can someone give me a straight answer, is it possible to raid a ide hd with a sata hd on a asrock combo-z motherboard

when im installing windows it gets to setup is now starting up the restarts??? what do i do
