Please check my build guys...Will be buying here in Japan on Friday:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4Ghz Orleans AM2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103029

Motherboard: Biostar Tforce 550 AM2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138026

RAM: Mushkin 512MB DDR2 800 5-5-5-12

Video Card: Inno3D Geforce 7600GS 256Mb ddr2 128bit
http://www.inno3d.com/products/graphic_card/gf7_pcie/7600gs.htm

PSU: Task 955TX 550w GOLD series

Is everything ok? Thats the farthest extent of my budget...It will be used for low to medium setting gaming.

Is the PSU for Intel boards only? Or it will work also on AMD platforms? Sorry I cant find any link to that PSU. But definitely its not an ordinary cheap PSU. It costs around $82..

Ow, why is it the one that I saw has 24-pin power connector? Anyways, as long as it has 24pin, I should not be troubled. And since I will leave the 20pin AGP boards finally :p

So all the other components ok now? good for low to medium settings to possible high settings game?

Ow, I will replace my build with this one.. I think its still the same except that I will move to the earlier socket..Since Im not planning for upgrade or whatever in the future, I hope this will be fine..

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Venice 2.4Ghz Socket 939

Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo-F nforce4
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813130491

RAM: Corsair ValueSelect 2x512MB DDR400 Dual-Channel Kit

PSU: Task 955TX 550W Dual Fan
http://www.task.com.tw/ps-atx-dual.htm

Graphics Card: Inno3d Geforce 6200TC 128mb 64bit

Yeah I know the video card sucks. But I preferred going to 1GB of RAM so that I can upgrade my graphics card later..Since DDR2 800 is so expensive for my budget, and after several hours of deciding which way to go, I finally came up with this..I know that this is not bad aside from the gpu. After I purchased a graphics card, Im finished. I think I ll buy again when I graduate :)

So any comments?

EDIT:

Oh and btw, I will purchase the RAM and CPU here in Japan. Is it possible that I can have the warranty of the product in the Philippines in case of DOA?

no sure about the warranty but everything is fine good for low settings on games and some games maybe medium.

Ah ok...When I upgrade my card I think I can play those games on medium....Will my cpu bottleneck a Geforce 7600GT or 7900GT or it will run ok?

Guys , do I need an aftermarket cooler for that 3800+? I fear I might toast that CPU with stock cooler...Im not gonna OC or whatever, just everything on stock..But I will run my PC near 24/7. And I dont have extra budget for a good aftermarket cooler and thermal paste.

Final setup:

AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Venice 2.4GHz
MSI K8N Neo-F
Corsair 2x512MB DDR400 Dual
Leadtek Winfast PX7600GT TDH (received as a gift gosh!!!)
Task 550W PSU

Well i used to have a 3500 and i would run for like 2 days straight on stock cooling and now i have a 4800 with a moonson2 and it could probably run all day too with a good psu so wut im trying to say is stock cooling is ok but a better power supply than that would be nice something like a thermaltake or a know brand.

Ah so long term operation depends on the PSU itself? I saw this Antec Smartpower 2.0 is it good? Bad thing is, 400W is the only available here..And I dont know if that can power up my system..Aside from my rig in process I have CRT monitor, 1 HD, 1 CD-RW, 1DVD-R and 2 case fans...

Well not only that but a power supply can lead to the death of components, it can lead to system instability, and so on so i guess its safe to say it leads to problems down the road if u get a cheap one....
this one here is a real good power supply im not sure it fits your budget if it doesnt tell me what your budget is and ill be more than happy to find you one at good quality and price.
