help with creating a computer

I need help creating a computer that is roughly 2000$. I am looking for a computer that is meant for gaming (battlefield 2), as well a media center. Please help me out. The only specs that I prefer it to have are the intel core 2 duo, 10,000rpm hardrive, and sli compatible with some 512 megabyte video card.


Please help, I am some what new to the technology

i suggest u go for a 7200 hd a 10000rpm hd wont make that much of a diff and spend the extra cash on more ram or the new nvidia 8000's cming out.

Ya wait liek two weeks for the G80's from nvidia they will be good. You can get like a C2D e6600, 2 gis of ram, a 8800GTX, and liek 2 raptors. they sky is the limit when you got 2k lol.
