I've been having a weird issue lately where sometimes Windows will hang on the screen when it's loading (you know, with the bar that goes left to right on boot up) and then ultimately lock up.

Could this be related? Is this IRQ sharing conceivably even a problem?

Thanks a bunch for any help...

try updating ur mobo, ur USB driver may be a issue
also ur gonna hav to change the IRQ manually in the BIOS
check the mobo manual and according to that it should be able to set IRQs for specific PCI slots.

the BIOS only lets me assign IRQ's up to 15. i have the latest motherboard BIOS driver...i'll check for other updates, thanks.

does anyone think this is even a problem or am i over-reacting?
