Unzipping help

i am trying to install a Battlefield 2142 v1.01 patch but it wont unzip. Please help me out with unzipping! I have winrar

what kind of error is telling u?
does it even show that its zipped? (lik does it show the books(winrar) or a C-clamp over a shelf(winzip)
