So was in windows and wanted to update bios... so used gigabyte bios update tool (as i did wheni upgraded to F4).
This time comp restarted and now posts saying CMOS check sum error - defaults loaded.
But problem is it ois stuck here.... no keyboard keys do anything... even though it says below that message del to set up BIOS.
I tried resetting CMOS by shorting the two pins (as instructed in the gigabyte hand book) - It has done nothing. I tried removing the battery... and its still the same.
I think its trying to load the F6 bios... (as this is what it says on post) - but its getting stuck at some point.
Any ideas? Is this my fault? I only followed the hand book... but this looks like a dead board right now!?
Should i have to pay if the BIOS is wrecked?
