hi everyone, i am thinking of building a new computer but my budget is only a $1000 dollars. but the $1000 is only for the computer though, including case. i have a different set out for other things i need like monitor, mouse etc. it will mostly be for gaming, and i want to stick with intel and nvidia. so please if someone would be kind enough to help me put a system together fo $1000 dollars, that would be highly appreciated
thanks

i would step down to 1gb stick, and get a 7600gt that will last you until the RD600 comes out next year.

and with the oney you save see if you can get an e6600

Go with either of these motherboards: DS3 or P5B-E
The DS3 is a better board but doesnt have firewire port. Don't cheap out on the motherboard

Go with this HIPER PSU
A lot better quality than Antec (slowly moving down the ranks)

If you won't be overclocking, go with this ram

I would go with a 7600GT because it is just too close to the release of DX10 to buy something too expensive.

Get the Centurion case. It's better quality.

7900GTX is very expensive. And who was talking about 7900GTX

The one you posted in your post is 7900GT, and 7950GT KO that I posted is better and cheaper.

The 7900GTO is better then the 7950GT too, and cheaper then the GTX, but just as good when overclocked to GTX speeds. Because it is a GTX, just downclocked.

Can't you read, the 7900GTO is "out of stock"
