short story is, my mom always wants to check her e-mail from my computer because she leaves her laptop at work. she's the type of person to open any email sent to her, and download whatever file extension the attachment is. i asked her not to check e-mail on my computer when i'm not around, but she does it anyway.

my temp fix has just been to set the screen saver to log back in with a password.

i was hoping there would be some sort of software i could install, where i could just click one tray icon and set it to be password protected while still allowing the background applications to continue to run.

any ideas?

Simply right click on a blank spot on your desktop, highlight new, and select shortcut. Direct the shortcut to:

"rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation"
