my LG drive is broken..I think.

It has power to it, and I put it in data cable (its a 1 end cable, so no master or slaves) Yet it still doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Its an LG Combo Drive.

Did you try all jumper configurations? (Master/CS/Slave). Also try a different cable.
