For the last week my PC has been having random Postcode alarms. The computer alarm will go off, and I will get a FF postcode error on my Abit AV8 Motherboard. Abit documentation says this means 'Boot attempt (INT 19h)' but I can't figure out what that means. I did install two new SATA harddrives a couple weeks back but they worked fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Abit hasn't been helpful.

THANKS!

If you get a two tone siren beeps. The beeps may indicate that the mainboard can not detect the CPU fan or other voltage is not in the safty range.
Make sure the CPU fan is connected to the CPU/Fan1 or 2 header and the rpm of CPU fan is between 4000 to 6500 rpm.
