After Holiday Sales

Hey guys,

I was planning on building my machine after the new cards were scheduled to be released in late November, but I got to thinking about the post-holiday sales and was wondering if you guys would suggest waiting another month or so to buy and build.

I have a machine now so it's not like I'm desperate, I just wanted to know if you think a $2000-2200 build would benefit much from waiting for the sales.

right now you could build a killer core 2 gaming rig with $2000, but idk how much prices are going to go down after the holidays.

basically if you cant wait that long go ahead and build one, if you are really patient and dont care then go ahead and wait

R600's are on track to derail the G80's.

If you can hold off... Wait until about February for the R600's, DX10 & Vista...

Also, CPU's are going to be much less of a factor in gaming with the new GPU's and cards. Everything i've read about the new cards says, "Much less work for the CPU."
