I was wondering how bad 1gb of ram is cause i am using 2gb in both of my machines and the price of ram went up since last time i purchased it.

I don't care how bad that machine will be i just need a good one for my 17th birthday party.

I couldn't have a 16th birthday party last year cause it fell on thanksgiving and everybody was busy before and after it.

This 17th birthday has to be good.

For gaming, 1gb of ram is good enough. 2gb of ram is more than what you need anyway.

only game up to this date that I know you need 2gb of ram is for bf2.. which that game ****es me off more and more everytime I play it

If you are running XP, 1GB of RAM is fine.

For Vista, I recommend over 1GB of RAM.

For gaming on Vista, don't even talk about it...
