No output to monitor

When i turn my computer on the monitor is not getting an output signal. I have tried connecting another monitor, but i get the same result. I opened it up and found that the video card fan is spinning, but i dont know if that means anything.

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.


EDIT: i just remembered that about 3 hours before i tried to turn it off my USB keyboard stopped responding and i had to disconnect and reconnect it to get it to work. could be completely useless information, but i dunno.

Try removing the video card and reseating it. Test it in another box if you can or try a different card.

You might have a bad card. Yes, try re seating the video card then reboot and try again.

ive tried that. i also checked to see if it was a motherboard problem and it wasnt. it must be a bad video card, kinda sucks.
