Ok so this is my computer...

Pentium D940(loud peice of **** cooler)
Asus P5LD2-micro atx
2x 1GB G.SKill DDR800 (yeah i bought the ram so I could get conroe later)
SB Audigy 2ZS
250gb WD Caviar
G7 mouse
Dell keyboard
Logitech z5300's
17" Monitor....
ASpire Q Pack Case
NO Video Card right now... (Intel950 GMA ROCKS...)
Antec Truepower 550SLI
I can spend 600-700 USD right now on stuff....

Things I was thinking of getting:
Viewsonic vx922
Conroe e6300
Conroe sli mobo...
New case... (this thing is too little and noisy for me now... lookin at Lian-Li pc-v1100, Tai chi or some of the silverstone cases..)
A video card... 7900gs..x1900xt (im thinking ill just go with integrated until r600.. but feel free to try and convince me)
A Raptor HD, Raid it with my Caviar
G15 keyboard...

What would you do to my computer with 600-700...?

That looks good. If you CAN wait, then I'd use the integrated, until the R600. But I'm guessing you would need an even more powerful power supply. 700W should do.

if i were yuo id upgrade my PSU and my mobo.

maybe sell your current psu and go with something with 650 watts or more.

sale your mobo and go with an ABIT A9WD if your case supports ATX.

and then use the rest for the RD600 when it comes out or maybe the G80 is you dont want to wait that long

pc power and cooling silent 750 would be my choice..its 200..but i think its awesome..

Im seriously considering the Tai Chi w/ watercooling... i can get it for 450..

i wont buy a video card now.. ill just use my Alienware lappy for gaming i guess...

This is what im thinking now:
Pc power cooling 750 silent
Tai chi Case
new mobo that i can put my D940 in for now and conroe later...

I dont think i need sli...or a new cpu...or a new mobo...

Im planning to get a g80 now...ati is no longer canadian so i might as well.

And Im gonna wait for quad cores to upgrade cpu.

Things I want now:
Monitor
Case (i want quiet so im considering an easy to install watercooling)

I think my PSU can handle a g80 with what ive got...

yeah ... well i think its better to wait and see what its reccomended power usage is. From what ive heard so far, G80 is expected to ship with a reccommended 450watt PSU... so well see.

thats a very nice card and will work great.

as for the case i think you would be better off just buying an Armor Jr. and buying your own custome water cooling setup
