Reformatting Computer

How would I do what you mentioned? I need steps for that sorry because I've never done that before.
 
turn pc off, unplug it, open case, look for this below

I don't really wan't to open my computer up as I do not have a phillips screwdriver with me. And I'm probably going to somehow screw up my computer.

If D cant be the Main Drive for Windows then its fine if C is. I just need a way to somehow erase all the data on the C drive (besides the windows XP) in a quick way, like a reformat. I can also delete the data one by one.
 
Wow, your computer is dusty.

You can't format the C: drive if you want to keep the XP installation on it. You will have to do it manually.

If you installed XP on D: while your C: drive/partition was visible to XP setup, it may contain the boot files for XP. If you remove that disk, or format it, Windows may stop booting.
