System Configuration Utility issue

I noticed that my anti virus program, "Symantec AntiVirus" was not opening when my computer started up, so I went into the System Configuration Utility, but the program is not listed, though on my dads computer it is. Does anyone know how I can add it to the Startup?

Can you get to it if you type MSCONFIG in the RUN menu?

Yes, thats all fine, but in the Startup tab in the Utility, the virus program isnt listed.

Reinstall it.

I did re-install it, and it did appear in the Startup section, but after a re-boot it dissapeared again.

Can you at least start it up in program files and run a system check for any viruses?

well ... you sould look for (ccapp) which is the main startup item for Norton. if it is something els , it dose not matter
