CPU change

Hey i have an odler laptop with an atholon CPU that is showing 1.8Ghz when in the BIOS but when i boot into windows it is only showing at 793 Mhz! I can't seem to figure out what is changing the setting when windows loads.

DANG!!! is it acting that slow? run cpuz or speedfan and tell us what it says there. maybe you might have to reinstall windows

I think it's Cool n Quiet that's doing that.
