Movies look weird in quicktime...

Ya... why do my quicktime movies look all bright? Normally they are darker...

The movies you are trying to play may have been encoded incorrectly, or incompatable with Windows Media Player.

Try viewing the movies with Quicktime 7.1

those movies looks all about guitar thus from the same place...did you tried other kind of files??

They are all about guitar, but the exact same files looked fine a few days ago.

EDIT: A video I took also looks odd.
