OK Monitor?

I was looking at this monitor at Best Buy the other day and it seemed pretty nice. I was wondering if it was a good monitor in general and also for gaming?

They were selling it for about $270. Are there any other monitors that I could look at that might be a bit cheaper but still of good quality or where I can find this monitor for cheaper?

i just got an lg flatron 19 inch lcd with a 1600:1 contrast ratio and an 8 ms response time the contrast is great but the fefresh rate isnt amazing but it is unotisable in my case and it has the nicest picture ive ever sen on any monitor it cost me 289 canadian

In my opinion, it is better to buy PHILIPS LCD because the lifeshell are much more longer i think.. i would take a 17 inch with 8 ms reaponse time with sRGB and the power usage are also lower than other LCD i think....
I just brought this kind of LCD with onil singapore$300 and it works well and also it good for gaming and also for watching video
