Does the GSA-4163 LG DVD writer support dual-layer? It says "Super Multi", but that doesn't tell anything.

Firstly did ur computer on when u power on it
did the HDD led on? if on tat ur display problems if not it nidter ur motherboard spoil or ur power supply spoil...

yeah, I've got that exact model DVD burner. I've burned a few dual layer DVD's with it; though it's usually kinda slow

It's faster than this stock DVD burner. It's only 4X.

Update:

Instead of fixing the old Celeron, I put the memory into the new machine. Goodbye old Celeron; Hello new Athlon with 1.25 GB of memory!

All I need is a graphics card, but mine is pretty good for running Windows.
