Prices of CPU's

I just recently purchased a 3800+ cpu socket am2. How long do you guys think until a drop in the higher end models of athlons? And exactly how much drop's do you think will occur with the intro of the quad cores? Can I pick up a 4800+ next year for around $200? or is that wishful thinking? Hahaha. Thank you guys. I understand that prices will go down. But what im more concerned with is how much it will go down. And maybe a 4800 is a bad example. Something that is like $500 right now like the 5000+... will they go down? I just want to know if the price cut will be significant enough to make things affordable later.

Just keep your eye on the market. No one here knows when prices drop or anything of that nature. Eventually, the prices will fall as time goes.
