It's the upstream speed that counts and unless you have fiber I don't think you will be getting anywhere near 10mb. Run this speed test and post back your upload speed: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ If your only getting like 128-512kbps upload speed than it would be totally pointless to build a fancy server PC.
