I have a new computer with a 160GB SATA HD.

Acer has pre-partitioned it as 80GB NTFS, and 80GB FAT32 for programs.

How do I Merge the FAT32 with the NTFS partition, since I install everything on the C Drive?

One of the best programs I use is Partition magic. It will merge the partitions. You can also try to open start right click on my computer click on manage then in the left column select disk Management. Now I was just showed this and have never used it yet so I'm not sure you can merge in this area. But at least you can look around there and see.

bmxfreakrider give a safer way but harder.
spiadoit hit it. partition magic will clean for you.

back up all of your stuff somewhere, and reinstall windows. when you reinstall windows, delete all pations, and make a new 180gb ntfs partion, and restore all of your data.

It's an Acer, wouldn't all their extra crap not work if you reformatted?
