New Gaming PC

hi there i am totally new to building a pc basically my budget is about £300
i am taking parts fro my old pc like DVD RW, RAM 1GB
i have looked at a few parts these are what i have so far.

Aspire X CRUISER Case - £60
Asus Nvidia 7600GT 256mb - £100
550w Power Supply - £25
AMD Athlon 64 (ADA3700DAA5BN) 3700 CPU Skt 939 San Diego *OEM*

i heard san diego is good for gaming i cant seem to find a resonable priced motherboard though.
also can anyone reccommend a better graphics card for the same price i dont really want to spend over budget.

everything looks decent except you psu, any psu that you get for 25 bucks is more than likley ****.

also the amd 3700 is a very nice cpu for a single core

That's not USD...

Depends on what brand/amps on 12v rail.. don't want to say the PSU is junk yet.

ok well would a Coolermaster eXtreme Power 650W PSU - ATX 12V V2.01 120mm Fan 20+4pin
do the trick?
thats £60 tho bit expensive for something that just gives u it power.
anyone suggest a motherboard aswell?

would a MSI K8N Neo4-F SKT939 nForce4 chipset Dual DDR400 PCI-E ATX

i dont know how much ?60 is but psu is an essential part of your overall system its not too msart to cheap out on it
