I'm lost after updating

Ok so tonight i had my computer running fine nothing wrong. I download and install the stupid updates from microsoft (this monhs) and after they install and i restart my computer, different things started happened. first of all now i have no sound...check the control panel and it shows there is no sound device installed (music won't play back either) also there is no longer a speaker icon in the system tray. Secondly my clock in the system tray is now gone! What's up with these updates? anyone else ever have this issue b4 or no how to fix it?

Locate the Updates and uninstall them, as for the clock being gone, this MIGHT help. And for your sound, download the driver and reinstall it.

Or go into control panel under hardware locate the sound icon right click on it and select roll back driver for this device.
