Opty 165 cheapest dual core???

ooo nice i gotta get the 4800+, thnx, i think it wil be close quality to the 175

but man $280 is ALOT

what about the multi on the 180? its still in my range, if the multi is 12 would it be worth the extra $20 over the 4800+ for an opty series?

ya 180 is 12 multi.. and if your an oc'er yes it would be worth the extra 20 because it can withstand a higher heat threshold

uuugh, its pratcially the same $$$ as a e6600, i seriously have to train myself to not go C2D..... its very hard, cause for that $300 i could get a mobo 512ddr2(mayb a gig) and a 6300

lol.. i fell into it... and god dang this thing is amazing paired up with a raptor.. but with 512 ram.. it kinda sucks... i can't use it multitasking the way i'd like.. so unless your patient to wait with 512.. don't do it... i'm stuck on this 512 for about a week so i don't mind too much... i'm getting a gig soon.. then returning this 512 stick back to circuit city and getting another gig

they all have generally the same oc limit.. which is probably around 3 ghz mark.. i say you go with the 170 to save yourself some cash
