My first build and a few questions

This is the system im building, it is my first build and I just want to make sure im headed in the right direction. I like to play games so I thought I should get a video card. IÂ’ve already ordered this stuff so I canÂ’t really go back and change it. I also opted for the E6600 instead of the 6800 because I read itÂ’s for Overclockers. I donÂ’t plan on doing this so the 6600 should be good right?

Motherboard-GIGABYTE GA-965G-DS3 Socket T (LGA 775) Intel G965 Express ATX.

Processor- Core 2 Duo E6600.

Video Card- eVGA 7900GTO 512MB.

Memory- G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit.

Hard Drive- Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s.

DVD/CD drive still deciding

Mouse, keyboard, screen already have.

I have not decided on a Power Source or a Tower yet because I donÂ’t know what size tower or how much power I need. If somebody could tell me this that would be great.

this build comes around pretty often... like literally the same exact thing... excellent build, as for power supply, go for something beefy.. because newer cards will use around 300 watts per card... i'd at least get a 650 watt... take a look at the thermaltake toughpower

You can either get a Mid-Tower or Full sized tower. I'd suggest the full towers, because you have more space to work with.
