I was originally going to purchase the Thermaltake Armor Series because it had good reviews and it was large.

The machine I'm building is for gaming and it has about $1,800 in high end parts going into it. The case I was looking at is $169 and people told me that's too much for a case. I will be upgrading the power supply and I just want to keep my parts cool.

What would you guys suggest in the $75-150 price range?

With a case, the best piece of advice is get what you like. Don't be persuaded by what others say. Get what you like the look of.

I personally have a Tt Kandalf (same as the Armor but different front) and love everything but the cheap plastic on the top around the USB cover.

Well the Thermaltake Armor is a very nice case. Gives me old nostalgia of when cases were made out of more than just tinfoil.

But for the best bang for your buck, the Coolmaster Centurion 5 comes to mind. A very nice case for the price it's offered at.

I agree, on both counts actually. Look around for a case that looks appealing to you and has decent airflow. There's a lot of options for you, and there's not really any ONE case that has the 'uber' airflow.

I also don't like those ports on the top of the case, I just ended up taking them out all together to get rid of some of the wirey mess at the top of my case. :p

Hmm, alright, and as for looks, I don't give a rat's a** lol, I just care about performance so any other ideas are welcomed!

I bought this in the beginning of the year for $120 shipped though

That's a good example of Flash and Substance to back it up, but considering the OP says he doesn't care about looks I think there's some better alternatives out there for that price.

At that price, i'd recommened just buying a TT Armor, and adding another Icage(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811999141)

That's pretty much my setup and the thing's a freaking wind tunnel. You could also go ahead and buy the case with the fan on the side panel: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133021
I don't have that side panel, so I can't tell you it's performance, though.

I'm going to put in another vote for the CoolMaster Centurion 5.

the quality of the case is not shown well in the pictures - it is a solid case. The inside of the case is really easy to work with. No sharp edges that I found.

Airflow is excellent, the front mesh panel allows airflow through and has a foam filter. 120mm fan in the rear, 80mm fan in the front (which sucks, too bad it wasnt a 120mm.
