Nice one mate. I think I may be able to get hold of an old tower, but I think it would still need a PSU. I am hoping to be able to upgrade in a years time, so it would be nice for it to have potential.
I think I should be able to squeeze about 600 at a real push. I have £250 in my bank account and some more in a savings account, but I would rather not touch the savings too much.

Well....you could cut down the processor and use a Pentium D(dual core) there going very cheap at the moment but also being discontinued But it would give the option to upgrade to a core2duo in future.

That motherboard looks good, Not sure about the PSU dont know if coolermaster are reliable. Try finding a good 600W PSU from ANTEC,TAGAN,OCZ,ENERMAX,SEASONIC or HIPER.
