I just wanted to update my computer so it would kick a$$ at gaming agian and man does stuff get expensive quick, LOL.

I was looking at a 7900GTO, z-5500, audigy4 sound card for 74 bucks, and a DVD burner.

The totat was like 638 BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

the a big dent in the pocket.

sound card? they are a waste of monry unless your on board doesnt work at all IMO.my on board sound is just as good as the sound card my friend spent 70 bucks on.

what are you talking about? LOL I am looking at the 7900GTO by EVGA, it is a video card.

And I highly disagree with the sound card and onboard comparrison. Because whatever sound card you friend bought was a piece of junk.
There is a huge difference in onboard and a card. Just read some reivews on a couple on newegg.
