I was noticing under my battery/power options on XP Pro (where is shows the blue battery(s) representing your laptop battery(s)) and next to it is a percentage showing remaing power left. Well I noticed the battery in bay1 gets drained 1st while the battery in bay 2 remains unused and stays at 100%.
I've read that using both batteries at the same time, drawing from both instead of draining one at a time is better for the batteries and allows users to get the most life out of their batteries.
Does anyone know how or where you would make a change to allow the laptop to draw from both batteries at the same time instead of one at a time? Any software, registery keys, BIOS settings, anything like that to make it do that?
I'd really appreciate some information on this.
