Iso IDE cable with 4 cons

I can't find any IDE cables (round) with 4 cons (3 devices). Do they even make them?

No, EIDE Only allow two devices Per Channel.

There definitely are add-on PCI cards for adding more IDE/SATA ports.

i think you are supposed to use them in combination with a DPDT power switch to switch power between the drives you want to use (while the pc is off) that way you can effectively enable/disable them by switch while leaving them attached. at least i have seen and made setups like that in the past.

Org it's kind of hard to make suggestions really as you may as well take the cheapest option (which is probably generic) unless you want to use RAID in which case you should get a name brand card.

lol, i read this thread when it was first posted, and i had no idea what the guy was trying to say; but thankfully, other tf members were able to decipher the message (it also looks like its been editted.. but donno if that had something to do with it )
