Step-Up from eVGA? (7900GTO)

Should I step-up my 7900GT to the GTO? Its only 35 bucks..but i'd be out of a card for almost a week. :/ I just concerned with whether or not I'll ever have another chance to get some cash back on this card. Anyone do a step-up?

Yes go for the GTO, I hear it out performs the 7950GT. It's basically a downclocked GTX, but people said it's easy to OC the memory of the GTO to GTX speeds.

Does your 90 day step-up program restart when you do the upgrade? If so I would do it so you could have the option of doing the upgrade again when G80 comes out.

i dont think so. Its a one time deal. :/ I'm going to wait another 4 weeks to see if anything changes.

Besides my 7900GT volt modded already beats a 7900 GTX any way.


Why even bother man? What dosen't the 7900 GT play with excellent fps?
