Vista Vs. Xp - Folder Ownership

Please help... i recently bought a new HDD and installed vista RC1 onto it. So i had 2 HDDs - one with xp and one vista...

I wanted to copy my Docs from my Xp HDD to my Vista HDD - To do this i had to transfer ownership to my vista hdd. Now i have Formated my vista HDD and XP wont let me access My Documents as it says access is denied - i

I was told to right click my docs and click Security - BUT THERE IS NO SECURITY TAB




Also - properties is showing 0bytes -but i know there is over 10Gb of stuff in there.......

any help on how to access my docs ?

That will tell you how to take ownership of files or folders in XP. that is if you didnt cut and paste them into Vista and loose them.
