Should i be worried?

My pc is making some noises that sounds like a fan is hitting something so i stopped all my fans with my finger for about 1 second except for my power supply fan.

When i touch my power supply the noise stops.

Do i need a new power supply?

sounds like the fan is going out in your ps, you could open it up and just replace the fan, more than likely its a 80 or 120mm fan.

maybe just a good cleaning and tightening of the fan... but I would wait about a week to open up the PSU before doing anything in it... those things can still hold a deadly charge even upplugged...

Does that save computer parts if your power supply fries? Cause when power supplies fry they take out parts with them.

My power supply is going to die soon so i have to go now.

that happened to my PSU like 4 days ago and a new fan did the trick.

The same happend to my video card fan... It only happens every now and then but when it does i just reboot and it solves it
