All programs try and open with Acrobat

Hi there everyone, I need a bit of help here.
All my programs try and open with Adobe Acrobat. I think I was trying to open a program from a down list searched and found the appropriate program and had "always open with" ticked but the program disappeared leaving Acrobat highlighted at the top of the list without me realising.
I have tried Explorer / Tools / Folder Options / File Types but they are looking fine.
I can't open the registry because Acrobat says it isn't a supported file type.

Help :(
 
I'm pretty sure you can just edit the acrobat reader's option for file association and it'll stop doing that. Just configured it as default for .pdf files and what not.

If not, then just uninstall, restart and reinstall it again.
 
I couldn't uninstall Acrobat as the "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel just opened up an Acrobat window. I did delete the Acrobat exe file but now every program I try to run asks what to open with :(
