there is no option like that in his BIOS, I know what you are talking about though my BIOS does have that. Also, one of the errors is a "zero display error" on install of catalyst.

download catalyst 6.4
when catalyst is about to pop up in the tray the computer will freeze, so disable it from starting via msconfig.exe.

also change the AGP to 4x
