i've been doing some research on different hard drives trying to find a decent one to purchase. I see that there are present SATA and SCSI Hard Drives. is it true that SCSI is superior to the SATA but holds more of a risk? And is the SATA 300 MB/s bandwidth much of a difference from the SCSI 320MB/s?

SATA is also more compatible because usually with SCSI you have to get a controller card for them.

SCSI is used generally for servers. I doubt you would notice the difference, except for the diff in $$$
