5950 ultra vs. 9800 plain with 256 stored ram

im debating on which one to get and i can only get either or because in compaqs customize pc these are the only two options. the 5950 is 240 dollars more than the regular 9800 and i really dont know which one i should get, no i do not want to build my own pc cuz i am really too stupid and with the stuff im getting it would end up costing more because i get a huge discount from compaq. is the 5950 ultra worth the extra 240 bucks or is the advantage over the regular 9800 really small, thanks

Theres a TINY difference between 9800 pro and 5950 ultra not worth the extra 240$

It depends, do you mean the 9800 Pro, or teh plain jane 9800 non-pro??

If its the 9800 Pro then the difference is defiantly not worth the extra money, but its the other way around if its the 9800 non-Pro

If your into gameing(Newer games) definately go with the 5950.
The games coming our now are takeing full advantage of graphics cards. If your not then I wouldn't bother spending the extra money as the 9800 will most likely be able to suit your needs nicely. On the same note as said above if it's a 9800 pro then the extra money will not be worth it either because the pro is a very good gameing card as well.
