high-def sound laggy....

Some of my high-def videos have laggy sound. Is this because I'm using onboard sound? And will a cheap sound card like this:

thats actually a decent sound card, but you should have gotten an Audigy. About the laggy sound, it might just be your system, maybe the drive if you're streaming it form the DVD drive

I'm watching it from my hard drive. Isn't the link I gave an Audigy? Oh and should I go for the retail or OEM of this card? because the retail is $1 more.

oh sry i didnt notice it was an Audigy, if you have the money i would go for this

or find an old Audigy 2 (ZS) off of ebay or something as i cant find them on Newegg now (i think they may have dropped them)
