I recently purchased a Microsoft webcam and it's not functioning as it should. The reason for this is that the webcam must be plugged into a USB2.0 port for full functionality.

When I plug in the webcam, I get the following message from Windows:

So I click the balloon message and get the following pop-up:

THE PROBLEM IS that I have tried every USB port on my pc (there are 7) but I still get the first message telling me to plug the webcam into a USB2.0 port and the camera still functions as though it's in a USB1.1 port.

Can anyone please advise as to what I may be doing wrong. As you can see from the following device manager image below my pc has USB2.0 capability:

Please advise if you can.

Thanks,
Stephen.

There must be a solution though. The logitech will probably still have the same problem. Anyone please assist.
